Description:
Original Riverboat Bowie by Bill Bagwell from the late 70's. Can be seen in sheet inserts from 1977(see pictures # 1, # 2 and # 13 that was included in catalog # 3) and made with a rare composite 8-1/2" Damascus blade by 1-1/2" from a bit over 3/8-inch steel stock with full distal taper, double brass guard with fancy file work and matching file work on the brass ferrule, India Sambar stag antler handle with two brass pins. One of the very few ever produced Damascus-bladed such model with two distinctive patterns ("River Styx," "Ocean Wave"). Original leather scabbard. This particular scarce model preceeds the one seen in the rare insert which does not have the two brass pins in the handle, as Bill find a better way to fasten the handle therefore eliminating the use of added pins. The original insert/sheet shown does not comes with the knife. but I will be glad to make a Xerox copy to the buyer. This knife is one of the most spectacular I've ever own and one of the prettiest, it is in a league of its own.
NOTE:. SOLD AS IS. Buyer pays shipping which includes full declared value for insurance purposes. Please note that all prices on any listed knives are firm and not negotiable.
