SOLD!!! This is a fine example of a Winchester model, 63 22 Long Rifle, Super speed and Super X semi automatic rifle from 1956. This rifle was built just shortly before the model 63 had a design change, which saw the incorporation of grooves to the top of the receiver for a claw mount scope. The model 63 is an incredibly well built 22 semi automatic, that first saw production in 1933, and ran until 1959, with roughly 175,000 built. The early model 63 had a 20" barrel until around 1936, with the remainder built with a 23" barrel. The script, proof marks, and S/N are all crisp, which will tell you that this gun has it's original finish to the metal. There is very minor flecking, which is quite comon on the large surface area of the receiver sides. The stocks retain the original factory finish, with nemerous small handle marks, and a light scratch on the left side of the butt stock (pic. 6). The metal butt plate is in great shape, and she has the original sight package intact. The gun disassembles and reassembles easily and tightly as it was designed. $1095.00 Shipped and insured to the lower 48 states.
