Description:
This is one of the Weatherby Custom Shop rifles; the Outfitter. It is a lightweight rifle, excellent to long range Sheep, Goat, Mule Deer or Coues hunting, with the power and trajectory to reach out far. The rifle has the stronger 9-lug action, and the gun weighs about 6 3/4 lbs. The fluted barrel is a full 26".
The Outfitter rifles feature honed Krieger Criterion barrels, custom outfitter camo, hand fitting, and a gray Nitrided finish to the metalwork. These rfilesw are guaranteed to shoot under an inch, and most do much better than that with the right ammunition. MSRP on these rifle is $2,800. This one has been used very little, as I don't do much long range hunting these days here on the east coast.
