Description:
28 inch round barrel with original sights. Bright shiny bore. Wood is very good with a rifle style buttplate. This gun is pictured on page 245 of Jim Gordon's Model 1873 book. Action is crisp and tight. One of the scarcer 1st Models made on a carbine frame with the factory plugged holes where the saddle ring would have been. Overall metal is smooth with no pits and about 20% thinning blue remaining. Complete with Factory Letter.
