SOLD For sale an original 1892 Winchester SRC (Saddle Ring Carbine) in hard to find 44-40 caliber.
This rifle has been professionally restored to it's original look. I have modified the rifle to be just like what was used on the TV show The Rifleman, which aired from 1958 to 1963 and stared Chuck Connors as Lucas McCain The Rifleman. This is a completely functioning 1892 SRC 44-40.
It will be something you pass down from generation to generation.
This come with the Rifle attached large loop lever just as used on the show, with trigger screw which when screwed in will trip the trigger and allow you to rapid fire just like Lucas did on the show. You can learn to spin cock and flip the Rifle as well. It will come with a Padded case with Rifleman logo and an extra Rifleman patch. Also included is a three ring binder with service manual and other helpful info on the show and the rifle.
I learned how to do this from the late Mike DiMuzio who was the apprentice to Chuch Connors gun smith. We lost Mike in December of 2015 unexpectedly. Ever since then I have been helping Fans and enthusiasts of the show get one of these special rifles.
