From a mid-west sale, a vintage 25 cal. saw handle under hammer target pistol with 10" rifled, octagon barrel with a false muzzle for a target loader. The wood stock is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or deep scratches and is solid as a rock (see photos). It has a brass butt cap (see photos). The barrel has a good bore and a wood ram rod. The iron metal finish has an aged mellow brown/blued patina (see photos). The lock function perfectly and has a strong hammer spring. At the sale they said they had no history about this guns ownership and it is difficult to date or tell the location of the gun's manufacture but everything on the gun appears to be original and correct. The bore is clear and everything functions as it should, with a little TLC this pistol could be back on the target range.
