Early Marlin Model 39 Takedown Rifle. .22 caliber with Lyman Tang Sight. 24" barrel and full magazine tube retain 90 to 95% of their original blue. All markings are nice and crisp. The bore I will rate and 8 on a scale from 1 to 10. Action functions nicely. Receiver retains 90% of its original case colors. Both forend and buttstock are in good condition. The buttstock has a chip on the pistol grip and a tiny crack upper / rear part of left side of buttstock near buttplate (see pics). All in all a great highly conditioned Marlin 39 rifle with a ton blue and case colors. Must ship to a FFL or Curio and Relics license holder. This firearm as with any other should be checked first by a gunsmith before any attempt is made to fire / operate it. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
