Sale Pending. This gorgeous .257 Wtby Mag rifle is in exceptional condition. The previous and original owner ordered it from the Custom Shop. The Crown Custom has super fancy walnut with two forearm inlays, a butt stock inlay, gold monogram with initials inlay on bottom of forearm. The butt stock inlay features a running gazelle. It has the Customized Action which includes damascened bolt & follower, hand honed action and checkered bolt knob. It has an engraved barrel, receiver, rings and bases, floorplate and trigger guard assembly. It also has a gold whitetail buck overlay on the floorplate. In addition to the regular Crown Grade features this rifle was ordered with a gold-plated safety, gold-plated trigger and gold-plated sling studs. The factory sling with gold-plated attachments (frogs) will be included. The 1982 Weatherby Price List which will also be included shows this model to cost $3826.75 and that does not include the gold-plated safety, trigger, sling studs and sling with gold-plating. The rifle bluing is mint, with no wear. There a few very minute handling marks. It was manufactured in Japan. Let me know if you need any additional photos.
