Single action percussion revolver with 8"" Octagonal barrel. The bore has very good rifling with some corrosion in the grooves. The action works. There is a ""H"" and ""R"" marked on the left side of the frame and a ""D"" marked on the left side of the barrel. The metal has a brown and gray patina. The grips are in very good condition with a faint outline of a cartouche on the left grip. Overall a good plus Civil War revolver.
