This is a very nice example of a dummy, non-operable example of an MG-34 that was issued to the Nazi Army in 1943. The gun is not matching and has a decommissioned receiver with the barrel removed. The rest of the gun is comprised of period-correct German parts. Nazi proofs throughout. The serial on the receiver is crossed out and renumbered. The receiver is also torch-cut. The bipod is operable. Excellent blued finish overall with minor edge wear and patina but no major areas of bluing loss. Nice wood stock with only minor handling wear. Comes with the original barrel, which generally has strong rifling with only minor freckling in the grooves. Also comes with most of the internals, like the bolt and firing pin. This would make an awesome display piece.
