A Scarce & Desirable Civil War Colt 3rd Model Dragoon Revolver Cut For Stock With Leaf Sights In Nice Untouched Condition. Serial #17,921, all matching numbers. All original and complete. Made in 1858. The Scarce Dragoon has very nice metal, markings, and edges. It has a good cylinder scene throughout showing some light natural wear. The barrel address markings are very clear on top. All of the metal on the gun has a natural darkening patina throughout it. All screws are fine including the rare original elongated stock screws. The backstrap & trigger guard retain more than half of their original factory silver. The original grips are nice throughout and have small wear at the top on both sides from having a stock on it. It has a fine, tight action and very good bore. This Is A Very Even and Very Nice Looking All Original Civil War 3rd Model Colt Dragoon With Great Character That Could Have Been Bought And Used Privately During The War!
