An Early & Scarce Civil War Colt Model 1848 Percussion Baby Dragoon Revolver With Loading lever In Excellent Condition. Serial #12,538, all matching numbers. Made in 1850. All original and complete. The revolver has excellent metal & markings with very crisp edges. The cylinder scene is also excellent throughout. The barrel and cylinder on the gun retain most of their original blue with light thinning in spots. The frame, hammer, and scarce loading lever show original darkening mousy case colors. Early Colt Revolvers had this type of case colors. All screws are excellent with original color on them. The backstrap and trigger guard retain all of their original silver. The original grips are minty and retain their original oil varnish. The revolver has a fine action and fine bore. This Is A Very High Condition And Scarce Civil War Colt Model 1848 Percussion Baby Dragoon Revolver. Colt Baby Dragoon Revolvers Rarely Turn Up In This Wonderful Condition!
