A Civil War Plant's Mfg. Co. Front Loading Army Revolver In Excellent Plus Condition. Serial #4,512, all matching numbers. All original and complete. Made 1863-1864. The revolver has excellent plus metal, markings, & edges throughout. The barrel and cylinder retain most of their original factory bright blue with only light thinning in a couple of spots. The frame & backstrap retain all of their original factory silver finish. The hammer also shows original colors. All screws are excellent with blue. The rosewood grips are mint throughout and retain their original factory finish on them. The gun has a tight as new action and excellent bore. Many of these revolvers were bought by officers and soldiers during the civil war as a secondary sidearm. This Is The Highest Condition Example Of A Civil War Plant's Mfg.
