Description:

***   SOLD PENDING FUNDS   ***   Handsome Filli Gamba St. Vincent sidelock 12 gauge pigeon gun made in 1960 with 7-pin Holland & Holland pattern sidelocks. Full coverage Belgian style ribbon and scroll engraving on frame, sidelocks, and breech end of barrels. Befitting a high grade Italian gun it has fabulous engraving, double triggers, hidden third fastener and a nicely figured European walnut stock. In true pigeon style it has an articulated front trigger non-automatic safety, and extractors. Gamba(now Renato Gambais one of the great Italian gunmakers and the company where both Danielle Perazzi and Ivo Fabbri learned the gun trade. Weight is 7lb 6oz.   ***   The Boehler steel barrels are 72cm in length(28.35”) and are chambered for 2-3/4” cartridges. They are topped by a raised solid crosshatched rib. The right barrel is bored 0.720 with a constriction of 0.003 for Skeet choke. The left barrel is also bored 0.720 and has a constriction of 0.013 for Improved Cylinder choke. The bores are shiny and bright. Just have Briley choke tubes installed and this would be a great gun for the flyer rings.  ***   The straight grip stock and splinter forearm are made from highly figured walnut; the stock has a generous comb for comfortable shooting. The stock dimensions are 14-3/4” over a 1” rubber pad by 1-1/4” by 1-7/8. Cast off for the righthanded shooter.   ***  Like any gun sixty years old there are a few handling marks on the stock and barrels from normal usage. Gun is mechanically and cosmetically in very good condition. Ideal for clays or game. High quality double that you will be proud to uncase at the range.  ***   I am an FFL and will need a signed copy of your dealer’s FFL. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance, and any other related charges. I give a 3-day non-firing inspection period and will only accept returns at buyer’s expense if the gun is not as described in the listing.
