Marlin Model 989M2 Carbine - Bolt Action - .22 LR Rifle - Smooth walnut carbine style stock with hand guard , barrel band and sling swivels. 18 in. long barrel, open rear adj. sight and a front ramped military style sight. Receiver is grooved for scope. Barrel and receiver are retaining 90% plus bluing. Bore is clean and bright. 7 round clip style magazine. Wgt. 5.5 lbs. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with a few minor handling marks. Butt plate is in great condition. The 99M1 and the 989M2 are patterned after the US 30M1 carbine. Manufactured from 1966 to 1969. This rifle is in exceptional condition with very little usage. A beautiful addition to any collection. SALE PENDING AWAITING FUNDS.
