SOLD This Inland's Barrel Date is 2-1943. The Carbine's serial number is 225520. The barrel is in fine condition with a bright bore and sharp lands. The sights are original to this carbine. The rear sight is the flip style sight. This carbine has all of the early features that were still being used at that time. The carbine and parts have the early style dark finish. All of the parts show consistant wear and use to each other. The trigger housing pin still has the retaining spring. The push button safety has the cross hatch surface. The blued flat bolt has the early ejector head and firing pin. The hammer is the Dog Leg style hammer. The stock has the early style stampings in the sling slot. This "I" stock and handguard shows service wear but no abuse, There is no cracks or wood damage. The sling is the correct early style khaki sling The worn blued oiler is I-I coded. The magazine is also I I coded. This carbine is a very fine representation of the Early Inlands that have seen service use and have survived not being through the rebuild programs. These Early guns have a very poor survival rate from war use and being left in original condition. This Carbine is one of these survivors! Search for hlvfineguns on google for more details. SOLD
