SOLD This Colt was produced in 1945. The pistol's serial number is 2289713. This Colt is one of the last production run of World War 2 Colt Model 1911-A1 Pistols. This Colt has all of the correct late style parts. The barrel is by Colt and is in very fine condition with sharp bright rifling. The hammer is the thin style spur hammer. It also has the correct stamped trigger. The grips are the correct latter style checkered Colt reinforced plastic grips. These grips are in very fine condition with no damage or checkering point damage. This pistol has the GHD inspector stamp. It also has the United States Property stamped on the frame. The magazine is a correct World War 2 Issued Magazine. The original parkerized finish would rate a 97% overall condition. There is some surface scratches on the right side slide, other than that there is no other finish issues. The original barrel blue would rate a 96% overall condition. This Colt shows very little use or being fired. This pistol certainly is in the collector grade of quality guns! This is a very nice example of the last production run of the Colt produced Model 1911-A1 series of military pistols. Search for hlvfineguns on google for more details.
