Final reduction.or it'll get a trip to Ahlman's for a reblue. A local rancher bought this gun new in the early 20s. Later he returned it to Remington and had a 26" IC bbl installed (mounted on gun in pics) the correct stampings on the 2nd barrel prove this to be true and the same serial put on at the factory. These are both the desireable milled rib versions and make up tightly, as they should. They are both complete assys making switching an easy task. I bought this gun from the second owner who had it for over 60 yrs and he was not a shooter but a collecter. Bluing on action starting to turn brown as some other places on the orig barrel but still 70%+. Good wood , no cracks, scattered dents from the safe goblins..$50. S&H
