Description:
The Shooting Party will be held on May 14,2022 at the Notheast Kingdom Skeet and Clays club in northern Vermont. This is a fun event of simulated driven bird shooting celebrating the grand shooting partys of Edwardian England. The venue will include 25 and 50 bird events for single shooters,paired guns, and teams. Challenge yourself to the excirtement of flurries of birds thrown from compurtized traps - fast and furious fun! A catered lunch will be served and there will be tables available to dispay guns and accoutrements of the period. In the spirit of the Edwardian theme only side by side shotguns are allowed and proper attire required ( collared shirt, no jeans, shorts, or camo clothing). A warm-up day of sporting clays and five stand will be held on Friday for those who want to enjoy a superlative clays course ( Club is the host of the Vermont state shoot every year)
Plan on joining fellow enthusiasts Saturday night for a formal dinner at the Inn at Burklyn , a beautiful1904 mansion that also provides first class accomodations.
There are many overnight accomodations in the area and it's a wonderful time of year in northern Vermont for fishing, hiking, and mountain biking.
