Enfield – 1853 3 Band Musket – 58 cal. - Parkert Hale Stk #P-31-68
This Parker Hale English made .58 caliber Enfield – 1853 – 3 Band Musket has a 38” tapered round 1-1/16” to 3/4” blued barrel with a 1:56” twist and is fitted with an adjustable ladder sight. There is a British proof mark on the top of the barrel and on the tang. The bore is in excellent condition. The large military style color case hardened lock has 1853 Enfield and the British Crown stamped into the plate. This P grade European Walnut is in very good condition with the Parker Hale cartouche on the right side of the butt stock. The stock has minor handling and usage marks. This stock is fitted with mostly brass furniture, except the blued 3 bands, swivels, and the steel ram rod. Overall condition is Very good. Length of pull is 14”, overall length is 55”, and weight is 8.6 lbs. Our stock number is #P-31-68.
