Standard configuration SIG Sauer P230 with fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight, with usual white paint highlighting. Left side of slide marked for manufacturer and caliber 9mm Police (not interchangeable with .380 ACP). Bold Schaffhausen Canton logo. Right side of slide marked with the model and serial number that is repeated on the inside of the frame. Black plastic grips, left panel with shallow finger rest, molded checkering around the grip screws. Unmarked finger extension magazine, each side with two vertical indicator slots, the floorplate, edges contoured later, made of aluminum.
