Description:
Remington 788 in .308 Winchester. This is a bolt-action, centerfire rifle that was made by Remington Arms from 1967 to 1983. It was marketed as an inexpensive alternative to the Remington 700 rifle, though the 788 gained a reputation of being very accurate. It also had some desirable features such as shorter bolt travel and lower bolt handle lift due to the unique bolt design. This rifle was manufactured in 1971 and has been well cared for.
