Visit Our Website Description: FRAMED Indian tanned, buckskin leather gauntlet gloves. Expertly made these gloves show the original smoke color with long fringe and welted seams. They appear velvety soft and flexible. These Leather Gauntlet Gloves are hand sewn and hand beaded in a floral patterns of pansies and water lilies. Beading on the gauntlet area and the back of the hand. All beading is tight with NO missing beads, you have to search hard to find a better pair. The beading was done by stitching and sewing down one bead at a time, a task that takes a lot of tedious work to complete. All seams are fully welted, again a sign of the best in craftsmanship. I believe these gauntlets were originally made in the early 20th century. The gauntlets are longer than most and the hands appear to be large. Look very close to see minor repairs on the top of the left gauntlet. They measure 16" long by 9" wide at the cuff. These gauntlet gloves are in perfect condition and have had no wear. They are a wonderful Old West collectable. The framing is a work of art in its self. Note the worm wood and exquisite framing. See photo for more details.
