24" SxS monoblock barrels with raised ramp front sight, folding twilight bead, sling swivel stud, smooth swamped rib, and raised quarter rib with 1 standing and 2 folding gold-lined express sights engraved for 50, 100 and 150 yards. Fully figured European walnut stocks with Deeley-release beavertail forend, long-tang triggerguard, steel trapdoor pistol grip cap containing two spare front sights gold inlaid with Rigby's double-R trademark, classic point-pattern checkering, beaded pancake cheekpiece, rear swivel stud and solid black Decelerator recoil pad. Acanthus scroll engraved, coin-finished, bolstered boxlock action with cape buffalo head on underside, bushed firing pins, double Purdey underbites, Greener crossbolt, double triggers, manual top tang safety with SAFE inlaid in gold and automatic ejectors. Leupold Vari-X III matte-finish scope with fine duplex reticle on ERAmatic quick-detachable swing-off mounts. Pull: 15 3/8". Weights: 11lbs, 10oz with iron sights; 12lbs, 8oz scoped. Virtually invisible monoblock jointing. Barrels bearing German proof date 1999. 99%blue. Excellent bores. In Rigby-branded Americase, with two BreaKO mercury recoil compensators not currently installed in the stock, two snap caps, and a good quality leather-trimmed tan webbing QD sling.
