Not much information available about where or who may have made these Georgia belt plates. This example weighs about 76,5 grams. Measurements are a little bigger than the Plate pictured in the Steve Mullenax book.
This is a rare plate. This came out of a local collection and is a secondary sand cast plate using a Georgia Militia plate for the mold, most likely, due to the crisp detail. This is a very detailed well made plate with a great natural patina. $3500.00, $15.00 for shipping including tracking. Insurance is additional.
