This is a genuine Allen Thurber 6 shot Pepperbox. Patented 1845 in Worcester. This gun has a 4" barreland is covered withan engraved nipple shield. The frame is also engraved with vines. The barrels are .31 cal. Action works smooth and is crisp. All percussion nipples are present and undamaged. Grips have original finish. Very nice little gun from the gold rush era. $850.00 OBO
