Payment Types Accepted: USPS money order preferred, or check Description: SOLD Beautiful condition Marlin Model 1893 in the unique and rare 25-36 M cal. The front and rear sights are correct and original. The 25-36 was designed by Marlin to compete with Winchester's 25-35. They both take a .257 dia bullet, and the 25-35 ammo will fire just fine from the 25-36, but not the other way around. Posted is a picture of the rounds side by side.(not included) The shoulder and overall case length is only about 1/16 dif. If you're a collector who likes to shoot your "collectables", I will include a box of emptys that were formed from "starline" 38-55 brass if you want. But you can also use 25-35 win. ammo that will "fire form" and can be reloaded with 25-35 dies. Don't size the case full length, stop when you feel the extra pressure to push the shoulder back, and you will have already formed the neck. Then finish as usual using, light, 25-35 load data. This has a frosted but strong rifled bore. $75.00 shipping to your C&R or FFL, Check or money order. Will ship as soon as payment clears.
