Description:
Up for sale is an early Lyman No. 1 tang sight for a Winchester model 1886, all calibers except .33. It is marked "N" on the bottom and has the large text marking for Pat. jan. 29/79 without the '84 on the post. This sight works perfectly with no play or slop in the post or hinge mechanisms. Both mounting screws are included. The long screw is likely original to the sight. The short screw is an NOS replacement since the original screw's slot was too messed up to be reused. This sight is a rare find and would be perfect for an early 1886 Winchester. $400 shipped  in the USA. Call, text, or email. Sold pending funds.
