Colt Single Action Army chambered in 45 Long Colt with a 5 ½ inch barrel. Comes with a Colt factory letter stating this gun was originally shipped in 1904 to the Norvell Shapleigh Hardware Company in St. Louis, Missouri. The action is very tight with 4 clicks to the hammer. This gun has a nice aged grey patina. The barrel looks as though it might have been cleaned at one point. All markings are sharp, and screws are in great condition. The front sight is unaltered. The grips are uncracked but are slightly worn with minor scratches and bruising throughout. Good example of a 1st generation Colt Single Action Army.
