Description:
**SOLD** Colt Single Action Army .45 Long Colt with 7 1/2" barrel. Comes with Colt factory letter stating this gun was shipped in 1899 to W.B. Belknap & Co. in Louisville, Kentucky. This is an honest example of a 1st generation Colt SAA. Matching serial numbers throughout. All markings are sharp, and all screws are in great condition. Overall metal has a naturally aged to an uncleaned dark grey patina. The front sight has not been filed or altered. The grips fit well and are worn, but not chipped or cracked. Good mechanically with four clicks to the hammer. Good rifling throughout the bore with minor pitting. Overall, a good example of a 123 year old SAA.
