Remington New Model Police 38 RF Factory Conversion, serial number 2646 (barrel and inside grip frame). Two piece cylinder and 3 1/2" octagon barrel. Action functions nicely. This is a rarely seen factory blued example, most conversions were nickel plated. Barrel and loading lever retain 70 to 75% of their original blue. Traces of original blue on the frame and back strap. Trigger has almost all of its original factory finish remaining. Cylinder has about 20% of its original finish as well. Nice case colors still present on hammer. Very nice grips that have matching serial numbers. Very nice barrel markings. Original front sight and I will rate the bore in fair condition.
