Description:
1886 Winchester Rifle lightweight solid frame manufactured in 1902. 33 caliber 24" round barrel and 1/2 magazine with Lyman Tang Sight ($500 value in itself). Barrel and magazine tube retain 70 to 75% original blue. Very nice markings and a great bore, I will rate it a 8.5 on a scale from 1 to 10. Receiver retains 30% original finish on the right side and 60% on the left side. Still showing case colors on the hammer and lever. Hard rubber buttplate has one tiny chip (see pic). Both forend and buttstock are in good condition showing the normal handling marks that you would expect to see from a gun of this vintage. All in all a well above average 1886 Winchester offered at a great price. Must ship to a FFL or Curio and Relics license holder. This firearm as with any other should be checked first by a gunsmith before any attempt is made to fire / operate it. Please feel free to ask questions.
