Description:
An antique (pre 1898) Winchester Model 1873 Octagon Barreled rifle in caliber .32-20. Rifle has a good shootable bore and external metal finish is mostly a nice patina. Wood is excellent with some added home made checkering as shown in the photos. Buttplate, hammer, lever, forearm cap, and magazine tube band appear to have been refinished. Dustcover is either refinished or a replacement. Rear sight has been replaced. Tang sight is one modified from another model and fitted to the top tang. Rifle is in perfect working order and action is tight - will make a good shooter. Rifle is an antique according to the gov't. so no ffl dealer required - may be shipped direct as long as you don't live in a communist jurisdiction.....
