Texas Ranger Deluxe Silver Conservative set (TR*544) (TR*545)
Only 200 engraved revolvers, Only 800, sets in the Blue with same book and case as engraved sets, manufactured to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Texas Rangers. Engraving and finishing was arranged by Texas Rangers Historical Arms, Inc. The revolver has attractive Southwestern style engraving, "TEXAS RANGER COMMEMORATIVE One Riot One Ranger" on the barrel, "TEXAS RANGERS" inscribed on the back strap, a silver star fitted behind the hammer, and a smooth grip with silver Ranger star inlay. The presentation case has silver Texas State Seal pulls and contains a Texas Ranger badge "made from a real five peso Mexican silver coin and set in lucite" and one Texas longhorn hide bound edition book of "The Pictorial History of the Texas Rangers" by Charles Schreiner III and others. The hides came from the famous YO Ranch. The patterns on the guns were based on Frank E. Hendricks in his shop in Texas

Excellent New condition. The case and book are also excellent with minor storage wear. Mechanically new excellent. 71/2 inch barrels, chambered .45lc
There were other special ordered Texas Ranger guns ordered outside that 200, One was (TR *561) and this set, (TR*544 and TR*545) as well and one other I have seen, AS far as I can tell this is the only set of Consecutive Engraved Silver Plated guns Texas Ranger out there, I have looked and talked to people involved in the project, they know of no others. This is one of the most Beautiful sets you will see, The single gun with book and case sells for $12,000.00, these and being consecutive will sell for $20,000.00.
In a day of laser engraving, hand engraved guns are a lost art. You can see the fine attention to detail done to these two guns
Guns were Engraved by one time Colt Master Engraver Jere Davidson, it is rare to find a set Jere Davidson has done, Jere Davidson is a true old time artist, takes a chisel and produces art as of these guns, Ken 480-380-7875
