Texas Ranger TR*69
A deluxe cased and engraved Texas Ranger Commemorative Colt Single Action Army revolver
circa 1969
Serial no. 69TR, .45 Colt. Grade II. Silver-plated finish. 7 1/2 inch barrel. Barrel, cylinder and frame with scroll-engraved panels, the framed signed FEH by the Famous Master Engraver Frank Hendricks of San Antonio, Texas. Right side of triggerguard stamped with Charles Schreiner's YO Ranch brand. Backstrap inscribed Texas Rangers, the apron set with a silver Texas star within a laurel wreath. Original elephant ivory grips, left side with Silver Texas Ranger badge. Complete with glass-topped walnut case lined in red velour and containing a Texas Ranger badge encased in lucite as well as a copy of The Pictorial History of the Texas Rangers, copy 69 of 1000, by Charles Schreiner III et al, published by the Y-O Press, Mountain Home, Texas, 1969, bound in black and white cowhide. Autographed by several Texas Rangers.
