26" tapered round Krieger barrel fitted by Martin Hagn and with detented-hooded full-band front sight, full-band swivel base, quarter rib with 1 standing and 1 folding gold-lined express sight engraved for 100 and 200 yards, integral raised and dovetailed bosses to accept quick-detachable Talley rings without separate bases, and with caliber inlaid in gold. Fully figured, oil-finished, California English stocks with ebony forend tip, fine classic wrap-around point-pattern checkering with mullered borders, gold-rimmed forend escutcheon, beaded sidepanels front and rear, steel trapdoor pistol grip cap, classic comb, double-beaded pancake cheekpiece, inletted rear swivel base, and Biesen checkered steel buttplate. Scalloped-back, casehardened, Hagn falling block action with sculpture-detailed loading lever by Steve Heilmann, gold detailed top tang safety, engraved by Sam Welch. Signed on either side of the trigger in microscopic letters by Don Klein and Sam Welch. Pull: 13 5/8". Weight: 7lbs, 14 1/2oz. Subject of a two-page spread in Rifle Magazine, November 2001 (copy included). With extensive paperwork pertaining to its construction during the period 1998 - 2001. With only a few light scratches in the wood and virtually all of its original metal finishes. Including the original match chamber reamer.
