Here is a Redfield Scope Base for a Mannlicher Schoenauer Rifle. It is New Old Stock with four 6-48 Mounting Screws and Instructions. It is still covered with the rust inhibiter that was applied at the factory. It is in its original box and celophane wrapper. Redfield part number 512017. SR MS Steel two piece Scope Mount Base.
The Screw envlope has a note that says prior to mid 1965 Mannlicher Schoenauer rifles used different European screws but that after mid 1965 all rifles were drilled and tapped for this mount and the four included 6-48 Screws. The European thread screws are not here. The box is shop worn but intact with all flaps and tabs attached.
