Description:
Swiss M40 lahti Chambered in 9 mm. features: Large blade front sight, U-notch rear sight. Serrated grips at rear of bolt. Safety at left rear of frame. Lanyard ring at rear of frame. Shoulder stock lug at bottom rear of grip. Left side of barrel assembly stamped "HUSQVARNA VAPENFABRIKS A.B". Markings: Has an Army Crowned SS stamped on rear of bolt. Right side of frame marked "6446". Top of barrel near frame marked with a crown.- Right side or slide above right of ejector marked with a crown. Checkered brown plastic grip panels with the Husqvarna crown "H" motif at the top. Crown stamped on top of slide behind rear sight. Single triangle stamp on the bottom of the barrel. Dot Stamping: Some of the pistols have 1 to 3 dots stamped in the rear part of the frame, meaning that modification 1 to 3 has been made on the pistol. This one has two dots. There is thinning on the edges of the barrel, receiver and frame, and on the front strap and backstrap. There are several light handling marks scattered over the barrel, receiver and frame. The slide, safety and takedown lever serrations are sharp. The grip screw heads are sharp and most of the markings are clear with raised edges. Overall, this handgun is in very good condition for a surplus firearm. 9mm Luger
