RARE WW2 GERMAN "LUFTWAFFE KARABINER" STEYR CODE 660 MAUSER MODEL G.12/34 or G12/34 "1938" DATE 7.9X57MM K98K STYLE CARBINE. One of approx. 6700 manufactured 1938/39 only. All original and matching with Luftwaffe “EAGLE/L” stamp on stock with double “WaA 623” Waffenampts stamped beneath and three “WaA623” Waffenampts on receiver as well as 15 or more places. Matching bolt with large swastika on back(correct). Recessed recoil thru bolts correct. Real bring back with NO import stamps. All correct Nazi Luftwaffe Ordnance inspection stamps crisply struck and ALL still visible and legible. Only made for the Luftwaffe in 1938/1939. Fine overall with most of the blue and stock finish. Has double sling swivels mounts, oversized wrap around buttplate(correct), correct semi-flat knob pistol grip, etc. Excellent markings. MINT bore and rifling. Shows moderate War use. Superior example in working order with excellent bore. Very scarce.
