We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Shipping insurance is available upon request for an extra fee. We cannot do international sales. As of November 2019, we no longer ship guns to California and Hawaii.

The Kimber Model 82 Government target rifle represents a rather important point in U.S. firearms history. For many years, high-quality US-manufactured rimfire target rifles were hard to come by. In the late 1970’s, Winchester ceased production of the Model 52 rifle citing low demand. Foreign-made rifles, especially those made by Anshutz, dominated the field. The M82 represented a return to the field of .22 Target rifles by an American manufacturer, something we take for granted today in the 21st Century. The M82 Government came about thanks to a large government contract , an order of 20,000 rimfire target rifles, all capable of firing groups 0.700” or smaller at 50 yards with appropriate target ammunition. Once deliveries were completed, Kimber began to offer their rifles on the civilian market. The rifle shown here is one of the CMP-certified rifles, and retains its certificate though there is no box. It has been fitted with a high end Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20x50mm MC scope. There is some wear in the wood furniture. The left hand side of the stock has a long scratch in the surface. It has the initial appearance of a crack, but is too straight and shallow to be one. The rest of the stock shows only minor wear. Bluing is in 98 % condition or better. The bore is of course in pristine shape. In addition to the CMP certificate, the rifle also comes with a user’s manual.
