Excellent Ugartechea sidelock in 20ga. with 28" barrels choked IC & M.
A very beautiful example with great case coloring. This is an early vintage collectors piece. As far as I can tell everything is original. Wood has the typical dings and marks from use but not cut or cracked.
Take a look at the pictures and compare to one of the other Spanish doubles going for twice the price. Please note the conditon of the case coloring and the features of the seven pin sidelock with side clips, cocking indicators and fine engraving. There is a bit of discoloration and minor corrsion on the bottom strap from carry and the barrels have very light outside marks on them. Balance is amazing and the thin wrist area has a wonderful feeling to it.
Locks up tight, bores are excellent.
I had New England Custom Guns in Claremont, NH perform the following:
strip, oil, clean and inspection
replace both firing pins
replace cocking springs (old springs included)
cost: $375 invoice included
You will find the dimensions to be similar to most Italian and Spanish models which fit most shooters. Compare to Arrieta or AYA I think you find this to be just as nice but for much, much less.
