Description:
This very nice M1854 Lefaucheux Brevete 12MM Pinfire revolver has a serial number that places it in the range issued to the 9th MO State Cavalry Militia during the Civil War. It is well marked with various proofmarks and inspector markings and even a possible maker name on the cylinder. The revolver is complete, original and fully functional. The elector rod is an original and not a replacement. The metal has an even bluish/gray patina. The bore is shiny with clear rifling. The grips are good with minor dings and varnish missing is places. The only thing I see missing is a liitle piece of metal off of the tip of the locking latch for the loading gate. It does not affect the function though. The serial number is 36240 and appears on the left side of the frame. Serial numbers 36050 and 36324 are documented as being issued to Company B. Paypal is an payment option but only if it is sent using the To Family and Friends option.
