Description:
Fine early Quality 3 12ga made in Syracuse with 32" Damascus barrels, checkered splinter forend with engraved steel escutcheon. Made with double triggers, extractors, auto safety. The finely checkered capped pistol grip buttstock with French Walnut terminates with a most interesting and scarce LC Smith "Trap" buttplate as seen in the photos.
Overall, the gun remains in fine original condition. Barrels with about 80% pattern. Case colors are present as seen in the photos and rate about 30%. Bores are good with some shallow orange peel, but certainly nothing serious. Stocks are sound and retain most of an older restored finish with an old near invisible repair to the wrist. Action is fine and mechanics work well.
