Description:
26 inch full octagon barrel chambered in the desirable 50-95 Express caliber. Full length magazine tube and a rifle style butt. Most thinning barrel and mag blue remain with the balance turning a plum/brown patina. Receiver also retains most shiny blue with some thinning and light scratches. Traces of case color on the hammer and lever. Nice functioning action and a good bore. Walnut stocks are in good condition with some light handling mars. Good honest looking Express caliber Winchester that was made in 1882. One of only 894 Model 1876 rifles in 50 caliber with a 26 inch octagon barrel.
