Description:
This is a strong example of the S&W .32 caliber Model 1-1/2 Single Action Revolver. Standard 3 1/2" barrel with five-shot cylinder, nickel finish, and early style checkered hard rubber grips. The .32 caliber Model 1-1/2 SA was produced from 1878-1892 with a total production of just over 97,000. The serial number is 88565. It was likely mf'd during the early 1880's but an exact date can be obtained by ordering a factory research letter from Smith and Wesson. Barrel has numerous patent dates ranging from 1865-1877. The screws and pins are very good. 100% all matching numbers throughout including grips, cylinder, barrel, barrel latch, and frame. Grips are Excellent with sharp checkering and no chips, cracks, or repairs. Bore is Good+ to Very Good. Barrel latch is tight. Ejector works properly. Excellent mechanics.
