Description:
24 inch round barrel with about 40% finish thinning to gray with several freckles of pinprick pitting. Very good bore is bright with excellent rifling. Half length magazine. Action retains about 70% original blue with some flaking, leaving a gunmetal gray and scattered light pinprick pitting. Walnut stocks remain in about very good condition showing some scattered light dings, handling marks and wear to the finish. Forearm shows custom coarse checkering and the wrist of the buttstock is embellished with a carved antler pattern with the right side having a scene of a buck and bear, added sling swivel. The sights include Lyman brass bead front, the rear sight seat has been filled with a blank stamped “DKK” and a Marble tang sight.
