Description:
This 1895 started out as a NRA musket in 30 Army (30/40 Krag) in 1915. Someone decided he wanted a rifle instead so removed the musket wood, rear sight, barrel bands and simply added an original 1895 forend with ebony insert and a fairly rare Lyman #38 windage adjustable rear sight. There was a rotting rubber buttpad that has been replaced with a fresh one. The original 30" barrel has not been cut or messed with. The bore is excellent. This could be brought back to musket status if desired or leave as is because it is an awesome shooter.
