This is a beautiful rifle by William Wurfflein Gun Company, this is one of their break-action rifles that was able to use the vernier sights. This is one of the Tip-up rifles in 32-40 with the serial number of 778. Manufactured in the 1880s through the 1890s with total production estimated at a few thousand. The patina of the metal is beautiful as this would be a great one to add to your collection.
