We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Steyr, alternately known as Stey Mannlicher, is one of Europe’s most famous and best rifle manufacturers. The Classic Mannlicher Full Stock is a rifle that emphasizes this fact. The Classic Mannlicher features the famous Mannlicher style full-length stock, a 20-inch barrel with beautiful hammer-forged swirls, open sights, and a detachable magazine. There are minor dents in the wood on the right side of the butt stock, less on the left side. There is some finish loss on the bolt knob and a little on the fore end cap and muzzle. The bore is in excellent shape with no rust or pitting. The scope provides an excellent view of the intended target. It is a Leupold Mk 4 with 4.5-14x magnification. It is well suited to this rifle. The Classic Mannlicher is chambered for the excellent 7mm-08, a round that has been popular for some time though it has been overshadowed in recent years by the 6.5 Creedmoor. Of all the .308 Winchester based cartridges, it was third most popular behind the 243 Winchester and 308 itself. It is still a good cartridge and is well suited to for many purposes, being used for varminting, game-hunting, Metallic Silhouette, and long range target shooting. In game hunting it is well suited to plains game thanks to the bullet’s excellent trajectory. Bullets are available in a wide variety of weights, from 140 grain up to the heavy 175 grain. The Classic Mannlicher in 7mm-08, combined with the famous Leupold Mark 4 is an excellent combination for hunting. It would be well suited for CXP2 and CXP3 game. There is no box.
