B. Halliday and Co fine English double from about 1939. This gun is in excellent condition and is the #2 gun of a matched pair or trio. Wood is excellent and the barrel walls are very good. This gun weighs 5 lbs 4 oz, has a LOP of 14.5" and a barrel length of 28". The stock had been shortened, then lengthened in a fashion that makes me think it was done while still in England. The buttplate is horn. The ejectors are well timed and the gun is in proof. This is what is called a "Crackin' good shooter
